Founded by Diane McFadzean-Tayburn in 2011, from the humble confines of a local church basement, Feeding Families Ministries embarked on a journey fueled by compassion and a desire to make a difference. What began as a small-scale effort has blossomed into a vital lifeline for our community.
Driven by the dedication of our volunteers, who selflessly give their time and energy without compensation, we have grown to serve over 300 individuals each week, surpassing 2500 registered clients. Our journey reflects the resilience of a community coming together to combat hunger and provide essential support to those in need.
Through the years, our mission has remained unwavering: to ensure that no stomach grumbles from hunger. From the early days of distributing food from a church basement to now offering a variety of nourishing foods, including eggs, cheese, bread, fresh and canned vegetables, proteins, and more, through our food boxes, we have evolved to meet the changing needs of our community.
Feeding Families Ministries is more than just a food pantry; it is a testament to the power of community coming together to uplift and support one another. Join us in our mission to ensure that no one in our cherished community goes to bed hungry.
